Introducing
Inner Space Embodied Therapy

A safe space to rediscover yourself

How are you feeling today?

Inner Space Embodied Therapy provides a safe place to address your mental health challenges.

Have you been experiencing acute or chronic anxiety, depression, stress or the impact of trauma?  Are you feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to turn for help? Have you found that talk therapy doesn’t seem quite enough?

An embodied therapeutic approach could be the missing piece.

Sarah holds a compassionate, confidential space for you to talk about what’s troubling you, develop the capacity to acknowledge and feel your emotions, and learn ways to calm and strengthen your nervous system. Sessions are client-led (responding to whatever is present each time) and typically include combination of talking, intentional movement, simple and accessible therapeutic yoga practices, guided breathing techniques and relaxation. Practices are offered, never enforced, as each person has individual responses and needs.

The journey to greater self-regulation and mental/emotional resilience is a deeply rewarding one that is best explored with supportive guidance.  Sarah’s past mental health challenges and the lasting benefits she has experienced through regular practice lend themselves to holding space for others to transform in their own way and in their own time.

A holistic, embodied alternative to talk therapy

This practical form of therapy takes you out of your head and into the felt sense of your body.  It is person-centric and can be broadly and safely introduced to anyone going through stress, chronic or acute anxiety/depression, trauma or if you are simply feeling out of sorts within yourself but you are struggling to identify what it is.

If you have tried talk therapy and found that your symptoms of low mood or heightened stress remain, this may be the missing piece towards feeling more calm, balanced and well.

How can I help you find more balance in your life?

You are not alone

Depression and anxiety can feel like a lonely place. Seeking help is a courageous step towards nurturing your own wellbeing and learning how to support yourself in times of need.

Long psychotherapy wait lists and high therapy costs are obstacles preventing those in need getting timely qualified support. My desire is to offer multi-dimensional, mind-body practices that are simple, accessible and over time can profoundly change the functioning of the nervous system”.

Sarah has a Diploma of Yoga and is a Certified Mental Health Aware Yoga Teacher. Sarah has also undertaken training in Yoga Therapy for Anxiety, Depression, Stress and Trauma. She is currently completing a Diploma in Psychology & Counselling.
